2025 Impact Numbers

We believe adventure travel should leave places better than we found them. Here's how we measured up in 2025.

Environmental

  • **144 native trees planted** (12 per traveler)
  • **2.4 tonnes of trail waste removed** (via our Waste-Out program)
  • **Zero single-use plastic** on all trips since 2021
  • **Carbon offset**: 100% of trip emissions offset via Gold Standard credits

Economic

  • **94% of trip costs stay in Nepal** — guides, porters, teahouses, local suppliers
  • **$48,000 donated** to local education through our school scholarship fund
  • **18 porter children** received full school scholarships
  • **3 community medical clinics** supported in Solukhumbu

Social

  • **Living wages for all staff** — porters earn 3× the industry minimum
  • **Equipment provided** — warm jackets, boots, and sleeping bags for every porter
  • **Weight limits enforced** — no porter carries more than 25 kg

Goals for 2026

  • Achieve B Corp certification
  • Launch a reforestation nursery in Lukla
  • Expand medical clinic support to Mustang region
  • Train 10 new female trekking guides
