Why Nepal?
Nepal offers something rare for medical students: high-volume, diverse pathology in a resource-constrained setting. You'll see conditions textbooks only show in photographs — and you'll learn to diagnose with your hands and ears, not just imaging.
Our Partner Hospitals
We work with three accredited teaching hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley:
- Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital — The country's largest. 700 beds. Every specialty.
- Patan Academy of Health Sciences — Known for its community medicine program.
- Bir Hospital — Nepal's oldest hospital. Trauma and emergency focus.
What You'll Do
Depending on your level and specialty interest: - Shadow senior consultants on ward rounds - Assist in procedures (under supervision) - Attend grand rounds and case conferences - Community outreach — weekly clinic visits to rural areas - Weekend activities — we organise treks, cultural tours, and cooking classes
